Our top 5 things to practice before your wedding day!

Practice makes perfect, right? Right! Well kind of! It might not make perfect but it certainly does help, and on your wedding day help is definitely a must!
Our team of in house wedding planners have compiled a short list of our top 5 things that brides should practice prior to their wedding day! These will ensure to help cut time down so you are ready to move on to the next festivity down the list!

So let’s get started!

1. Cake Cutting
Every wedding we set aside a special time for the bride and groom to cut their wedding cake! This is certainly something you and your fiancé will want to talk about ahead of time! We know the classic cake smear on the face is sometimes a surprise but if this is one thing you feel passionately about you might want to let your significant other know ahead of time!

2. First Dance
All eyes are going to be on you so it might not hurt to practice twirling around the living room a time or two before you get up in front of your closest friends and family members! It’s so fun to think back on practicing leading up to your first dance and the hilarious memories that were probably made in the making!

3. Walking in your wedding shoes
New shoes hurt, we all know this to be true! Make sure to break in your new shoes a few weeks leading up to your wedding day! You will be thankful for the comfort you feel knowing that you’ve had practice.

4. Your first kiss as Mr. and Mrs.
Hold it for the cameras! This is a moment to cherish and what better way than to perfect it than getting a few practice kisses in? We love the idea of holding your first kiss long enough to get the perfect photo op!

5. Bustling your wedding dress!
Ah this is a crucial one ladies! Make sure you take the time to go over this process with one of your bridesmaids or a family friend that wouldn’t mind stepping away for a minute! This will alleviate so much time for you and it will make it so much easier for you to dance the night away!

These are our 5 super easy and time efficient things that we want you guys to be sure to practice/plan to ensure that your wedding day is nothing less than perfection!

With love,
