A love story that started many years ago (10 to be exact), came to life one day in May over a casual catching up with an old friend. It’s no surprise that May would have such significance later on down the road.

After moving back to Georgia from Raleigh, North Carolina BriAnn met up with Brent as friends, little did they know they would be together from that day forward. Sometimes what you’re looking for is right where you left it.

After a year and a half of dating, it was finally time! Brent planned out each detail with the help of BriAnns sister, and after a walk around the golf course at Chateau Elan, they approached a gazebo and at that moment, that is when BriAnn knew what was about to happen! Rose petals and champagne were the icing on top of the moment she had dreamed of!

“Southern Spring Elegance,” is what BriAnn had envisioned for her wedding day! She knew she wanted an antebellum home, with an outside ceremony area, but it was important that they have a backup location in case it rained!

“Shortly after our first tour I decided to go with The Wheeler House because it checked off every single one of my boxes. From the antebellum house to the all-inclusive packages, it felt so special when I was there, “said BriAnn.

The time had come and after a year of wedding planning, BriAnn and Brent were ready to tie the knot on a perfect, your guessed it, May day. Surrounded by family and friends BriAnn and Brent said I do! BriAnn decided on doing a first look, and credits that moment as being her favorite part of her wedding day!

“Enjoy the process. Wedding planning can get so overwhelming that you forget why you are planning this wonderful day. Take time to recognize your wedding day should be for you and your spouse and not anyone else. Go to the open houses, that’s where we were able to ask so many questions about the food, cake, and DJ. We were able to try all the options without scheduling separate meetings, which was great!”
